300 HOUR ADVANCED TEACHER TRAINING

An advanced training for yoga teachers ready to refine their craft, deepen their understanding of yoga, and build a sustainable, successful, values-driven career in yoga.

Yoga is not just something we teach, it is something we live. This training was designed to help you deepen your wisdom, refine your craft, and lead with integrity.

This 300 hour advanced teacher training invites experienced teachers to move beyond collecting knowledge and into deeper integration. Here, philosophy becomes a lived practice, anatomy becomes a tool for skillful teaching, and entrepreneurship becomes an opportunity to build a career aligned with your values.

Over the course of 10 months, you’ll explore:

How do I continue evolving as both a teacher and a student?
How do I build a successful business without losing the heart of yoga?
How do I teach from lived experience rather than borrowed language?
How do I embody yogic ethics in the way I teach, lead, and serve?

Embodied Practice, not Performative Teaching.

The Core Four

Yoga is not simply something we study, it’s something we strive to live. Our curriculum is grounded in four guiding principles that shape every aspect of the training, from philosophy and practice to mentorship, teaching, and business. Together, they create a rigorous, reflective, and deeply embodied approach to yoga education.

These principles guide not only what we teach, but how we teach, lead, build community, and show up in the world.

Our Approach to Yoga Alliance

Our 200 hour teacher training is currently registered with Yoga Alliance, and we have submitted our 300 hour teacher training for RYS 300 registration and are currently awaiting their review.

We value the recognition and external standards that Yoga Alliance provides, but our commitment to the quality of this program extends beyond any credential. This training was designed with a deep commitment to embodiment, sustainability, belonging, and integration and to developing teachers who can think critically, teach skillfully, and live the practice beyond the classroom.

Our 300-hour curriculum meets and, in many areas, goes beyond the minimum standards established by Yoga Alliance. We have intentionally created a comprehensive and rigorous program that includes advanced anatomy, philosophy, sequencing, teaching methodology, practice teaching, mentorship, accessibility, business and professional development, and the integration of yoga as a lived practice.

This training will move forward as planned regardless of the outcome of our RYS 300 application. Our commitment is first and foremost to our students, our faculty, and the quality of education we provide.

If our registration is approved, graduates will have the additional benefit of completing a training recognized within the Yoga Alliance system. If it is not, the depth, rigor, and integrity of the training remain unchanged.

If Yoga Alliance registration is an important consideration for you, we encourage you to wait until our RYS 300 registration has been determined before enrolling. You’re also welcome to reach out to our Co-Director, Nya Daley Benefield, at soulgayoga@gmail.com if you’d like to have a conversation about the benefits and limitations of Yoga Alliance registration and whether it’s important for your goals as a teacher.
